Mick Foley unveiled the title on the May 20, 2019 episode of Raw, reviving the 24/7 rule of the old Hardcore Championship: it could be defended anywhere, any time, as long as a referee was present. He laid the belt in the ring and Titus O'Neil grabbed it to become the inaugural champion.
