A second WCW world title that grew out of the NWA World Heavyweight Championship lineage. When WCW seceded from the NWA in 1993 while Ric Flair held the NWA title, WCW kept the Big Gold Belt and rebranded it under a fictitious subsidiary, "WCW International", to run alongside the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
